Although I had no special dance education before I started dancing as an amateur 23 years ago, my interest in dance always made me gain as much information as possible that relates to body and movement.
Besides using exertion and non-exertion from the inside of my body and mind I am very interested in how influences from outside reflect on me. These influences can be as simple as an audience that’s watching, but also partners that may be active in my movement or influencing it from more or less distance.
I am discovering my body and mind mainly by practising a variety of modern/contemporary dance for 23 years, influenced by tai-chi, capoeira, contact improvisation, Skinner Releasing Technique, aerial dance and recently some yoga, tantra and bdsm/bondage activities.
