Where’s it at

The historic and picturesque village of Cardona

This year’s venue is a restored 14th century aristocratic home in the old heart of Cardona.  Currently undergoing restoration: the space will centre on two large high-ceilinged dance spaces, with another large dance space, room for eating and socialising, sunny terraces and many smaller rooms which can be used for labs, body work and relaxation during the day while doubling as sleeping spaces at night. The thick stone walls and floating wood floors will keep the place cool during the summer while allowing for easy and smooth dancing and playing.

Here are some Pictures of how the place looked last summer:

And also a shot from the venue of the neighbouring castle – arguably the most important medieval castle in Catalonia.

Cardona is about an hour outside of Barcelona with a regular bus service dropping you in the city centre. Cardona’s salt mountain and mines are a world unique geological phenomonem.
